OBLUM pioneered the manufacture of surge arrestors in India and was the first company to manufacture Metal Oxide Discs and Gapless Surge Arrestors with indigenous technology.
Our state of the art technology includes Advanced, High-efficient state of the art Machinery for manufacturing and Testing of Surge Arresters. The designs are type tested according to the IEC 60099-4 2014.
We produce varistors in house, which means we have high quality control ability for the entire manufacturing process. We are the market leaders in Polymer housed Surge Arrestors up to 800KV systems. We have also supplied Surge Arresters for 1200kv system to PGCIL.
We currently offer a complete range of surge arrestors from LT to UHV Surge Arrestors ( 3KV – 800KV systems) all manufactured in house using state of the art technology to satisfy the requirement of both, the domestic and international market.
We have fully integrated manufacturing facility certified with ISO9001-2015 international quality system certification.
